DJ and producer KIM SWIM loves to swim against the tide.

She is the emerging electronic artist bending the rules and breaking the mold with her non-conformist style. Hailing from South Korea and currently based in Berlin, KIM SWIM grew up in various cities across Germany, shaping her eclectic musical identity. Her journey took a bold turn when she dropped out of law school just shy of graduation to pursue her true passion: music.

This daring choice has proven fruitful.

KIM SWIM has rapidly made a name for herself in Europe, particularly in Berlin's dynamic nightlife, gracing the stages of renowned venues such as Boiler Room, RSO, Funkhaus, multiple visits to HÖR, Watergate, and many more. Her residencies at DNA Club in Munich and Gotec in Karlsruhe showcase her deep commitment to the scene and her talent for engaging audiences.

2025 is shaping up to be a monumental year for KIM. She kicked off the year with a tour in South Africa, playing at iconic clubs like Modular in Cape Town and &Club in Johannesburg. Internationally, she has already captivated crowds at iconic venues such as Mondo Disko in Madrid, Radion and Thuishaven in Amsterdam, and Kilometre25 in Paris.

As an up-and-coming producer, KIM has been making significant moves with her new releases on Hot Meal Records and Polyamor, enchanting audiences worldwide with her uplifting sound. Her last release "Hands Up High" has garnered support from major artists in the scene.

Looking ahead to summer 2025, KIM will be making her debut on some of the biggest and most renowned festival stages across Europe, including Teletech Festival in Manchester, Monegros Desert Festival in Spain, Electric Love in Austria, Deichbrand in Cuxhaven, and many more.

KIM SWIM’s sound is a vibrant blend of genres, seamlessly weaving together funky house grooves, up-tempo trance, bouncy techno, hard house, baile funk, and more. Guided by her belief that “music is fluid and, in the end, it’s all about energy” she constantly pushes the boundaries of electronic music, crafting a high-energy experience that connects with a diverse range of audiences.
